Abstract
Objective To analyze the relationship between apolipoprotein B gene (7673C/T and 11039G/A) polymorphism and cerebral infarction (CI). Methods ApoB gene 7673C/T and 11039G/A polymorphisms in 90 CI patients and 82 normal controls were measured by polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP). TC, TG, HDL, LDL, ApoA and ApoB levels were determined by biochemistry determinator. Results Mutant genotype and allele frequencies of ApoB gene 7673C/T polymorphisms in CI group were significantly higher than those of control group (P ＜ 0.05, respectively), and the frequency of the mutation of A allele in the CI group was also significantly higher (P ＜ 0.05). However, there was no significant difference in the frequency of mutation in ApoB gene 11039G/A between the two groups (P ＞ 0.05). Logistics regression analysis revealed that 7673C/T CT genotype was a risk factor for cerebral infarction. Conclusion The 7673C/T polymorphism may be a risk factor for CI, while 11039G/A polymorphism may not be.关键词
