Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of double-bundle reconstruction of medial patellofemoral liga-ment (MPFL) for treatment of recurrent patellar dislocation. Methods The 18 patients with recurrent patellar dislo-cation who underwent double-bundle MPFL reconstruction. Knee function was evaluated by the Lysholm score and Kujala score at 12 months after the operation. Results All the patients were followed up for 14～56 months. No in-fection, deep vein thrombus, recurrent dislocation occurred during follow-up. All the patients showed negative appre-hension test. The knee flexion function of 1 patient was limited. The knee flexion function of all patients returned to normal at 12 months after the operation. All patients could do physical exercises properly and were satisfied with the treatment effects. Both of Lysholm scores,Kujala knee function scores at postoperative 12 months were significantly higher than the preoperative ones, there were statistically significant differences (P ＜0.05). Conclusions The double-bundle MPFL reconstruction is effective in the treatment of recurrent patellar dislocation, which can signifi-cantly improve the stability of patellofemoral joint.关键词
