Abstract
Objective To assess the effectiveness and safety of transanal tube with gasbags drainage and de －compression on prevention from anastomotic leakage after anterior resection for rectal cancer .Methods The data of an－terior resection of rectal cancer in 102 cases was analyzed retrospectively.The patients were divided into observation group (48 cases) and control group (54 cases),which depends on whether the transanal tube with gasbags is placed af－ter surgery or not.The incidence of postoperative anastomotic leakage and re－operation rate were compared between the two groups.Results One case of anastomotic leakage occurred in the 48 cases in the observation group ,the incidence of anastomotic leakage was 2.08%.Meanwhile,seven cases of anastomotic leakage occurred in the 54 cases in the control group,the incidence of anastomotic leakage was 12.96%.There was statistical significance between the incidences of anastomotic leakage of the cases in the two groups (P＜0.05).The patients with anastomotic leakage in the observation group were cured by conservative treatment and had no re－operation.Five patients with anastomotic leakage in the control group were performed with re－operation.The re－operation rate of the patients in the observation group was lower than that in the control group.Conclusions The use of transanal tube with gasbags after anterior resection plays a role in sup－porting and protecting the anastomotic stoma.It can reduce the incidence of postoperative anastomotic leakage after ante －rior resection and the re－operation rate.关键词
