Abstract

The short-term test data of PR is impacted by ambient temperature, irradiance, wind speed, wind direction, and the other external environmental factors. Thesefactors result insome different degree of seasonal bias to PR short-term testing data, which makesithard to reflect the medium and long term running status of PV system. In this paper, the weather-corrected method is used to carry out statistic and analysis on the operation data of the sample PV station. According to the statistics, a better short-term test scheme for PR testing of PV system is proposed, and the quantitative analysis method of temperature rising loss is also presented. It is shown that there are two ways to improve measuring precision of PR. Under the premise of seasonal bias correction of PR testing data, if testing time is only 1~3 days, it is better to execute the test when irradiation conditions are better; when the irradiation conditions are not stable, the number of testing days are needed to extend to 7 days or more. In addition, the temperature rising loss of PV modules is the most important factor that causes the electric energy loss of PV system.
