摘要

Abstract

A four-fold Brillouin frequency shift spaced ring multiwavelength fiber laser is proposed and experimentally dem-onstrated. A four-fold Brillouin frequency shifter(FFBFS)is incorporated into a ring cavity. The Brillouin pump(BP)is in-jected into the FFBFS and the 1st order-4th-order Stokes signal can be generated due to the stimulated Brillouin scattering. The 1st-3rd order Stokes signals are confined to the FFBFS,the 4th-order stokes is led into the ring cavity and output from the cavity. By the cascaded stimulated Brillouin scattering,a four-fold frequency shift spaced Brillouin multiwavelength can be achieved. In the experiments,the 3 wavelengths with 0. 353nm spacing are realized and the output power is very stable.
