Abstract

Using electrocoagulation and ultrasonic electrocoagulation to treatment the pyridine pesticide wastewater and explore the factors that influence the results. The optimum conditions for the electrocoagulation reaction were, electrolysis time was 60 min, electrode spacing was 3 cm, current density was 20mA/cm2. Under this condition, the CODCr and chroma removal rate of wastewater can reach 37. 06% and 51. 54%, respectively, and the degradation of CODCr fit the second-order reaction kinetics.Under such conditions, we increased the process of ultrasonic processing, and found that the removal rate of CODCr and chroma was 65. 20% and 74. 10%. Compared with electrocoagulation, the effect has been greatly improved. The kinetics of ultrasonicelectrocoagulation degradation fit the first-order reaction kinetics.
