Abstract
Heterogeneous reactions of SO2 on the surface of γ-Al2O3, Fe2O3, MnO2, CuO, CaO, MgO, TiO2, SiO2 and ZnO particles were studied by using in situ diffuse reflectance infrared fourier transform spectroscopy (DRIFTS) in this paper.And then the surface products of SO2 on different oxide particles were investigated. The main products of heterogeneous reactions of SO2 on γ-Al2O3, MgO and MnO2 particles were sulfite and sulfate, the product of heterogeneous reactions of SO2 on Fe2O3, TiO2 and CuO particles was sulfate only, and the product on CaO and ZnO particles was sulfite only. At last, the reaction absorb coefficients were calculated based on the sulfate production amount and particle BET area, among which, the rate of sulfate formation on the surface of the MnO2 particles was the fastest, and the uptake coefficient was 1. 15 × 10-6.关键词
