加味清胃汤治疗慢性牙周炎疗效及对患者牙周菌斑分布、炎症水平、PGE2水平的影响
Effect of Jiawei Qingwei decoction on the periodontal plaque distribution ,inflammation level and PGE2 in patients with chronic periodontitis

Abstract
Objective :To investigate the effect of Jiawei qingwei decoction on periodontal status ,inflammatory cyto-kines ,prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) levels and TCM syndrome scores before and after chronic periodontitis treatment .Meth-ods :114 patients with chronic periodontitis were chosen .They were divided into the study group and the control group ac-cording to the random number table method ,and 57 cases in each group .Patients in the control group were treated with rox-ithromycin tablets and metronidazole tablets orally .The study group was treated with Jiawei Qingwei Decoction on the basis of metronidazole tablets .14 days were as a course ,and they were treated for 6 courses .The changes of periodontal status (PLI ,TM ,SBI) and levels of inflammatory cytokines (tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) ,high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) ,interleukin-6 (IL-6) ,interleukin-1β (IL-1β)) ,PGE2 and TCM syndrome scores ((Bad breath ,swollen gums ,dry mouth ,constipation ,gum bleeding) of the two groups were observed .Results :There were no significant differences between the two groups before treatment (P＞0 .05) .After treatment ,①the indexes of periodontal status in study group were lower than those in control group (P＜0 .05) .②The levels of inflammatory cytokines and PGE2 were all decreased in the study group and the control group (P＜0 .05) .③The score of each index in TCM syndrome in the study group were all decreased (P＜0 .05) .Conclusion :Traditional Chinese medicine plus Qingwei Decoction application in the treatment of patients with chronic periodontitis ,which can significantly improve the patients'symptoms such as gingivitis ,bad breath and constipation , and promote the gradual elimination and reduction of the disease by reducing the levels of inflammatory factors and the dis-tribution of dental plaque ,can significantly improve the patient's periodontal status and improve the patient's quality of life .关键词
