Abstract
An investigation on white elm attacked by Rhynchaenus alini had been carried out in 6 coun-ties of Changji Prefecture,Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region from May to July,2016.The number of gathered leaves,intact leaves and vesicles,and the rate of damaged leaves had been surveyed.The cor-relation between the rate of damaged leaves and the number of vesicles had been calculated.The result showed that both the number and the rate of damaged leaves had significant positive correlations with the number of vesicles,of which the correlation for the rate of damaged leaves was higher(R2=0.615)with linear regression equation of Y=0.146+0.045X.The linear regression equation between the num-ber of damaged leaves and the number of vesicles was Y=16.703+0.494X.The number of vesicle can be used as an index for determining the damage degree of white elm.关键词
