Abstract
In November 2017,the American College of Cardiology(ACC)and the American Heart Association(AHA)and other aca‐demic institutions jointly formulated and issued the guideline for diagnosis and treatment of hypertension in 2017.This guideline rede‐fined the diagnostic criteria for hypertension,and proposed the idea of starting a new opportunity for drugs to treat hypertension.The publication of this guideline was bound to have an impact on the formulation of a new version of the hypertension guideline in China,and would also have a certain impact on the treatment and control of blood pressure of the hypertensive patients in China.关键词
