Abstract

Reducing mileage errors of data from the track inspection car can basically guarantee the accurate assessment and prediction of track geometry.Considering the inefficiencies of present researches on reducing mileages errors,a quantitative model for estimating differences between measurement mileages and actual mileages of track geometry data is established based on waveform matching method.Then interpolation is twice adopted to correct the mileage errors.The analysis of plane curve demonstrates that the points of tangent to spiral,spiral to curve,curve to spiral and spiral to tangent can be used as mileage calibration points individually.With reference to the data from the track inspection car on a high-speed railway,under the confidence of 99.7%,the range of differences between actual mileages and measurement mileages can be controlled at [-23.8 15.6] m and the range of differences of sampling points between two measurement inspections at [-15.9 15.7] m.After the processing of the mileage errors,the range of differences between actual mileages and corrected mileages around the calibration point is [-0.7 0.7] m and the range of mileage differences of sampling points between two correction inspections can be controlled at [-4.2 4.2] m,which shows that the mileage errors could be corrected effectively,especially the errors in long curve.
