Abstract
In order to analyze the influence of wind speed and moisture content on the heat preservation of cotton knitted fabric,12 common cotton knitted fabrics and cotton/polyester blended knitted fabrics were selected as the research object,and the thermal resistance,thermal conductivity,contact temperature and heat preservation rate of knitted fabrics were tested with KES fabric style tester and flat plate thermal insulation,then the effects of wind speed and moisture content on the warmth retention property of fabrics were studied by means of variance analysis and regression analysis.Results show:the moisture content has a significant effect on the thermal properties of cotton knitted fabric;under the condition of moisture content and wind speed changing,adding a certain amount of polyester fiber in the cotton fiber can improve the fabric's warmth retention by 10%;the moisture rate and wind speed affect fabric warmth retention property in the way of a superposition manner,and the warmth retention and wind speed,moisture content and temperature have a linear relationship.关键词
