Abstract
There are many disorders that can cause dizziness in the pediatric population and cause considerable re-strictions in participation in school and leisure activity. Children suffering from vertigo and imbalance have received less attention in the literature than their adult counterparts, due to the difficulty that children have in describing their symptoms. And the differential diagnostic process with children is also a challenge.Vestibular migraine and benign par-oxysmal vertigo as a migraine precursor are the most common diagnoses in dizziness clinics for children. They account for most of diagnoses of children with vertigo. The vestibular and balance systems are largely developed after 1 year of age. Therefore, clinical and laboratory testing is reliable. In the past few years, classification of vestibular symptoms and vestibulat disorders have changed many aspects of vestibular medicine. The purpose of this paper is to focus on evalua-tion of children with vertigo, diagonosis and diffrential diagnosis of children with vertigo according to the new guidline of classification of vestibular disorders.关键词
