Vibration Analysis of Electric Vehicle Battery Packs based on a Precise Dynamic Model of Battery Units

Abstract
Vibration of electric vehicle battery packs was analyzed by numerical simulation and experiment. The refined model and the simplified model of the electric car battery pack were established and their constraint modals were simulated respectively. The natural frequencies of the two models were obtained. Comparing the simulation inherent frequency results of the two models with the experiment inherent frequency result, the advantages and disadvantages of the simplified model was found. Meanwhile, the correctness of the model simulations was verified. The simulation and test results can help engineers to avoid the inherent frequencies or minimize the incentives at these particular frequencies in their designing so as to eliminate excessive vibration and noise. This work provides a theoretical basis for the analysis of the whole battery packs.关键词
