摘要

Abstract

In order to improve the influence of particle dampers on the structure stiffness and detect the damping characteristics of particles in sandwich structures, a honeycomb particle sandwich structure was studied by numerical simulation and experimental test. The equivalent mass, stiffness and damping of the structure were computed through the vibration power spectrum measurement. Then, the particle equivalent single degree of freedom model was established by nonlinear curve’s fitting method. This model was used for particle numerical simulation in a continuous honeycomb structure and the result was in good agreement with that of the sinusoidal sweep experiment. This study provides a convenient method for particle damping simulation.
