Influence of Lattice Constant on Sound Insulation Properties of Acoustic Metamterial Plates

Abstract
We use finite element method to investigate the influence of lattice constant on sound insulation properties of acoustic metamterial plates constructed by periodically depositing two-layer cylindrical stubs on the surface of a thin homogeneous plate. In this investigation we present several structure design schemes. First scheme is that the mass ratio of resonators to the plate is not limited. Numerical results show that the effect of the resonators become less obvious along with the decrease of lattice constant. The second scheme is that the mass ratio of resonators to plate limited to 100%.When the radius of stubs is fixed, the smaller the lattice constant the better sound insulation properties. When the radius of stubs change with lattice constant, the lattice constant should be neither too large or too small to realize broadband sound insulation performance .关键词
