A Numerical Method for Fast Frequency Sweeping Analysis in Vibro-acoustic Problems based on Fast BEM-FEM

Abstract
The vibro-acoustic coupling problems of structures are common in many fields such as navigation and aerospace. The fast BEM-FEM hybrid method is an effective method to solve these problems. It is often necessary to perform the frequency sweeping in terms of the vibro-acoustic problems. However, the computer time consuming is very large to complete the frequency sweeping analysis by the complete method, and the existing traditional methods for fast frequency sweeping (FFS) are no longer applicable for this problem because the fast BEM matrix is introduced. In this paper, the response sampling method proposed by our research group was used to construct a new projection space, and a FFS method for vibro-acoustic problem based on the fast BEM-FEM was proposed by the model order reduction technique using the new projection space. Finally, the correctness and performance of the FFS method were verified through two typical examples. Compared with the complete method, the computer time consuming of the FFS method proposed in this paper is less than one-tenth of that of the complete method, and the computation accuracy is stable around 1.0×10-5.关键词
