Abstract
Objective: To observe the improvement of IR risk factor and clinical curative effect of needling Shenshu 57 points in the treatment of diabetes mellitus(DM). Methods: 100 DM patients with insulin resistance(IR) were divided into the treatment group and the control group, with 50 cases in each group. Basic care and anti - diabetic medication were applied in the two groups; on which basis, the treatment group was also treated with needling Shenshu 57 points. After 10 weeks of treatment, the changes of BIM, ISI, HOMA - IR, Fins, glucose, lipid metabolism and TCM symptoms were observed. Results: There was significant difference between the treatment group and the control group, in terms of BIM, ISI, HOMA -IR, Fins, FPG, P2hPG, HbAlc, TG, TC, LDL-C, HDL -C and TCM symptoms(P ＜ 0.05 ). Conclusion: Needling Shenshu 57 points can alleviate IR risk factors and improve clinical symptoms in DM patients.关键词
