Abstract
Objective: To investigate the efficacy of percutaneous transforaminal endoscopic discectomy for recurrent lumbar disc herniation. Methods: 40 cases of patients with recurrent lumbar disc herniation were randomly divided into observation group (20 cases) and control group (20 cases), the observation group treated with percutaneous transforaminal endoscopic discectomy while control group with conventional fenestration decompression of vertebral lamina, observed the surgical effect of the two groups and their prognosis. Results: The intraoperative blood loss, off-bed activity time and hospitalization time of observation group were significantly lower than those of control group (P<0.05), while operation time was significantly longer (P<0.05); 1 week after operation, the VAS and JOA scores of observation group were significantly lower than those of control group (P<0.05); there was no statistical difference between the incidence of postoperative complications in the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion: The implementation of percutaneous transforaminal endoscopic discectomy in recurrent lumbar disc herniation has excellent therapeutic effect.关键词
