Abstract
Objective:To develop a scientific core competency index system for newly recruited nurses and to provide a theoretical basis for the setting of the training system and assessment criterion of newly recruited nurses.Methods:Literature analysis and brainstorm-ing were used to constructing the index system.Delphi survey was conducted on 40 experts to identify the items.Analytic hierarchy process was employed to determine the weight of each index.Results:The response rate of two-round of expert consultation was over 95%,and the authority coefficient was 0.860.The coordination coefficients of the primary,secondary,and tertiary indicators were 0.390, 0.331 and 0.439,respectively(P<0.01).The core competency index system was consisted of 5-dimension core competency,namely the first-level indicator,including diathesis,professional ability,management ability,personal qualities,and professional develop-ment.Under the first-level indicator,11 secondary indicators and 54 tertiary indicators were included.Conclusion:A scientific and re-sponsible core competency index system for newly recruited nurses was established with outstanding coordination coefficients,high authority,and superior agreement of experts,which could be used as a valid tool for the training,assessment,and evaluation of newly recruited nurses.关键词
