Organization and implementation of multinational combat rescue exercise in sector east MINUSMA

Abstract
Objective: To summarize the experience of peacekeeping medical detachment in organizing a multinational combat rescue exercise in sector east of MINUSMA and to provide the corresponding reference for the in-depth training of treatment of the wounded in actual combat. Methods: In the view of multiple terrorist attacks against the United Nations peacekeeping force, emergency treatment, casualty transport and air evacuation need multinational medical units to cooperate closely and improve the treatment efficiency in actual combat background. Dominated by Chinese peacekeeping level Ⅱ hospital, a combat rescue exercise in which 5 medical teams from four countries participate was carried out. Results: The exercise was successfully carried out, with a total of 150 minutes, and 5 severe patients were rescued, 2 of them were sent by air evacuation after the application. The level Ⅱ hospital was treated with moderate injury of 6 moderate the wounded, and one minor injury. After treatment, transferred back to the level I hospital 4 patients. The accuracy of the 52 combat sites set up by 16 patients was 98％. Conclusion: The peacekeeping medical detachment has showing the great power style and the actual combat capability of our medical service troops on the international stage by organizing multinational exercises. Sufficient coordination and communication, reasonable design and guidance, and accurate evaluation and review are important methods for successful organization of multinational joint exercises.关键词
