The influence of WeChat group counseling on the knowledge and methods of breast-feeding of primiparas

Abstract
Objective: To explore the influence of WeChat group counseling on the knowledge and methods of breast-feeding of primiparas.Methods: 116 primiparas with spontaneous labor were divided into Wechat group(58 casses)and control group(58 cases).And primiparas of control group received traditional mean about health education of breastfeeding and primiparas of Wechat group received Wechat counseling on the basis of the traditional mean.The follow-up time of two groups was 3 month postpartum.The questionnaire survey was adopted to investigate the situation of primiparas at two time point,that they left hospital and the follow-up finished.And then the feeding status,the satisfaction of primiparas for the consulting education,life quality and compliance between the two groups were compared.Besides,the questionnaire about acquisition degree of knowledge were implemented to evaluate the difference of the two methods.Results: The ratio of exclusive breastfeeding of Wechat group was significantly higher than that of control group(x2=13.16,P＜0.5),and the satisfaction degree of Wechat group(96.55％)was better than that of control group(87.93％),and the scores of physiological function,role physical,physical pain,total level of health,activity,social function,emotional function and mental health of Wechat group were significantly better than that of control group(t=8.91,t=10.05,t=12.35,t=9.17,t=10.52,t=13.28,t=10.31,t=9.16,P＜0.05).The differences of three degrees of compliance between the two groups were significant(x2=8.13,x2=6.27,x2=12.05,P＜0.05).Besides,the questionnaire scores post intervention of health education of Wechat group was significantly higher than that of control group(t=8.92,P＜0.05).Conclusion: WeChat counseling has a significant effect on mastering the knowledge of breastfeeding for primipara,and it can promote the self-efficacy of breastfeeding of primipara.Therefore,it is worthy to be popularized and applied.关键词
