Efficacy of Neck Three Needles Combined with Acupoint Application Treating CSR and Changes of Neck Biological Parameters

Abstract
Objective:To observe the effect of the neck three needles combined with acupoint application with Uighur medicine in the treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy (CSR) and its influence on the parameters of cervical biology. Methods:100 CSR patients were randomly divided into the control group(n =50) and the observation group (n = 50). The control group was treated with conventional medication; on which basis, the observation group was also treated with the neck three needles combined with acupoint application. The total effective rate of the two groups was statistically analyzed, and the neck mobility, cervical physiological curve, and neck muscle strength were measured and compared before and after the treatment in the two groups. Results:The total effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group, the difference was significant(P ＜0. 05). Neck mobility, cervical physiological curve, and neck muscle strength were significantly improved after the treatment than those before the treatment in the two groups (P ＜0. 05); of which the observation group improved more than the control group(P＜0. 05). Conclusion:The therapy of neck three needles combined with acupoint application with Uighur medicine is effective for CSR, it can significantly improve neck mobility and cervical physiological curve, and release the muscle tension, it is beneficial to promote the recovery of neck bio-mechanical balance.关键词
