贝尔氏面瘫急性期低频电针介入对疗效的影响
Effects of Low Frequency Electro-Acupuncture on Acute Bell's Palsy

Abstract
Objective:To study the intervention of electro-acupuncture for the recovery of nerve function in patients with acute Bell's palsy, by using the comprehensive evaluation of neurological function scale, electrophysiological examination and detection of MRI scan. Methods:66 patients with acute Bell's palsy were randomly divided into the electro-acupuncture group and the acupuncture group. The treatment was once every other day. House-Brackman Scale and Sunnybrook Scale were used to assess facial nerve function of the patients before every treatment, MRI scan was performed to observe the signal intensity within the three days of the onset, and facial nerve conduction velocity was detected within the first week. The MRI examination and detection of facial nerve conduction velocity had been performed again one month after the onset. Results:There were no significant difference between the two groups in terms of recovery starting days, recovery duration days, dynamic changes of House-Brackman Scale score and Sunnybrook Scale score, MRI scan and facial nerve conduction velocity, latency, amplitude and amplitude ratio of facial nerve conduction velocity. Conclusion:The application of low frequency electro-acupuncture for Bell's palsy at acute stage take no harm to the facial nerve, and it does not influence the recovery of the nerve.关键词
