Abstract
Objective: To compare the efficacy of nasal polyps extirpation with intranasal ethmoid sinus resection and nasal polypectomy for nasal polyps. Methods: 128 cases of patients with nasal polyps were randomly divided into control group (64 cases, treated by nasal polypectomy) and observation group (64 cases, treated by nasal polyps extirpation with intranasal ethmoid sinus resection), compared the efficacy, incidence of complications and recurrence status in 1 year after opeartion. Results: The cured rate of observation was 75.00％ and overall response rate was 98.44％, which in control group were 53.13％ and 95.31％, the cured rate of observation group was significantly higher than control group (P＜0.05) while no statistical difference in overall response rate between the two groups (P＞0.05); the incidence of complications and recurrence rate of observation group were significantly lower than those of control group (P＜0.05). Conclusion: Nasal polyps extirpation with intranasal ethmoid sinus resection has a significant curative effect on nasal polyps, which can effectively increase cured rate and decrease recurrence rate.关键词
