摘要

Abstract

This paper is aimed at the study of the DC flashover characteristics of PTFE sample immersed in SF6/CF4 mixture, the electrode gap of finger-type electrodes is 5 mm. The flashover voltage of sample surface in SF6/CF4 mixture is measured with the partial pressure ratio of SF6 varying from 0% to 100% and the gas pressure from 0. 1 MPa to 0. 4 MPa. The influence of gas pressure, partial pressure ratio and voltage polarity on the flashover characteristics of sample are studied. Experiment results show that between 0. 1 MPa and 0. 4 MPa the flashover voltage of the sample in SF6/CF4 gas mixtures increase with pressure at constant partial pressure ratio of SF6. When the pressure is 0. 3 MPa and the partial pressure ratio of SF6 is 20%, the negative DC flashover voltage in the mixture is 52. 34 kV, which is61. 4% of that in pure SF6 at the same pressure. The flashover voltage under negative DC voltage is lower than that under positive voltage. However, when the pressure exceeds a critical value, the flashover voltage presents polarity-reversal with the pressure growing. The negative DC flashover voltage of 40%SF6/60%CF4 has reached 65% of pure SF6. This research provides a reference for the application of SF6/CF4 gas mixtures in high-voltage DC insulation devices.
