Abstract
The properties and yarn quality control issues of Xinjiang machine picked cotton were discussed. The properties of Xinjiang machine picked cotton and the quality differences between machine picked and manual picked cotton were introduced. Fine yarn was produced by machine picked cotton. The yarn quality control was focused on neps and short fiber content. The increase situation of neps &short fiber content in each process and the processing configuration thinking with Xinjiang machine picked cotton were analyzed. Better yarn quality effect was achieved. It is considered that cotton yarn meeting with quality requirements can be spun according to the quality properties of Xinjiang machine picked cotton, by focusing on the control of neps and short fiber during spinning and by taking related processing technology measures.关键词
