摘要

Abstract

In order to study the influence of bedding on the physical and mechanical characteristics of sandstone, siltstone of the basic roof of 5-2 coal in Buertai Coal Mine is taken as the research object. The effects of bedding on the longitudinal wave velocity, tensile strength, shear strength, compressive strength, elastic modulus and peak strain were analyzed by direct tension, direct shear and uniaxial compression tests. Experimental results show that: it has no effect on the longitudinal wave velocity, compressive strength and residual shear strength; however, the tensile strength, peak strain (tensile), shear strength, elastic modulus, peak strain(uniaxial compression) and longitudinal wave velocity were significantly affected by the bedding. Compared with the intact siltstone of the tensile strength, peak strain(tensile), shear strength, elastic modulus, peak strain (uniaxial compression) and longitudinal wave velocity were decreased of 31. 6%, 33. 2%, 33. 9%, 33. 3%, 42. 7% and 8. 4%, respectively.
