迟华基诊疗痤疮的特色和思路
Characteristics and Thinking Paradigm of Diagnosis and Treatment for Acne by Professor CHI Huaji

Abstract
Basing on the theory and traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) thinking paradigm of The Yellow Emperor's Inner Classic, Professor CHI Huaji holds that the primary disease mechanism for acne is deficient root and excessive branch. Deficient root means the deficiency of spleen qi, and fails to generate the lung, while the excessive branch is wind and heat attacking the lung, with accumulation of damp and heat in the spleen. Listening and smelling as well as inquiry are especially important for they are helpful for fully grasping the disease mechanism and improving curative effect. It should be looked into both its root cause and symptoms of acne, which consideration is given to both cold and heat drugs for tonifying spleen and lung and enriching wei-qi in radical treatment, or clearing wind, heat and dampness in symptomatic treatment. For the patients with the a longer course of disease, the drugs of dispersing phlegm and stagnation, or those of activating blood circulation and dredging collaterals will been added. And according to the different location of acne on face, the channel ushering drugs are added accordingly.关键词
