Abstract
Objective: To analyze the combination law of prescriptions from Medical Cases for Clinical Guidance·Cough qualitatively and quantitatively and to acquire precise combination methods. Methods: There were 159 formulas with definite herb combination from the book collected. The weight value and threshold value of efficacy of each herb were calculated, and the efficacy level of each formula was analyzed to determine the correlation and difference between different combinations by applying the double layer spectrum weighted cross cutting algorithm. Results: In differentiation of formula category, qualitative and quantitative analysis are helpful for identifying the differences between each formulas, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of formula combination. In determining the syndrome from formula, qualitative and quantitative analysis are helpful for studying and understanding the obscure classical articles, analyzing whether the formula and syndrome are corresponding to each other, learning the experience of precise combination, and further understanding the application scope of the formulas. Conclusions: Qualitative and quantitative analysis can be applied to show the efficacy focus of the formula, to differentiate formula category, to explore the rule of modification, categories of functions, vicissitude of functions, and hence to reduce subjective errors.关键词
