摘要
Abstract
Objective:To explore the effects of modified Huanglian Wendan Decoction on MDA, SOD and Na+-K+-ATPase in cerebral tissue of chronic renal failure (CRF) rats. Methods: Forty Wistar rats were randomly divided into blank control group, sham operation group, CRF model group and traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) group. Each group had 10 rats. The blank control group, sham operation group and CRF model group were given normal saline by gavage, while the TCM group was given modified Huanglian Wendan Decoction by gavage. After 6 weeks, the levels of MDA, SOD and Na+-K+-ATPase activity in cerebral tissue were tested. Results: Compared with the blank control group and the sham operation group, the MDA level in the CRF model group and the TCM group was significantly increased (P<0.05); compared with the CRF model group, the MDA level in the TCM group was significantly reduced 0.05). Compared with the blank control group and the sham operation group, the SOD level in the CRF model group was significantly reduced (P<0.05),and there was no significant difference in the TCM group. Compared with the CRF model group, the SOD level in the TCM group was significantly higher(P<0.05). Compared with the blank control group and the sham operation group, the Na+-K+-ATPase activity in the CRF model group and the TCM group was significantly lower 0.05). Compared with the CRF model group, the Na+-K+-ATPase activity in the TCM group was significantly higher(P<0.05). Conclusion: Modified Huanglian Wendan Decoction can significantly reduce MDA level, increase SOD level and Na+-K+-ATPase activity in cerebral tissue of 5/6 nephrectomy rat and ameliorate oxidative stress in brain tissue of CRF rats.关键词
