Abstract
The size of the converter valve shielding system is large, and the geometry is irregular. The electrostatic field analysis is large consuming and low efficiency by using the traditional electromagnetic algorithm. In order to solve this problem, using the fast multipole method to accelerate the boundary element method, and using different weighted residual methods, we formed collocation and Galerkin fast multipole boundary element method. In order to further improve the efficiency, a preconditioner was proposed based on the coefficient matrix of the direct integral calculation. Compared with finite element method, it is found that the accuracy of the two methods can meet the requirements of engineering, and the Galerkin fast multipole boundary element method has higher precision. The efficiency of the algorithm was verified by comparing with the traditional boundary element method. The influence of the layer number of tree structure on the precision, time and memory occupancy was analyzed. The preliminary analysis was carried out for ±160 kV converter valve shielding system. The fast multipole boundary element methods are lower consuming and higher efficient, which lay the foundation for further analysis of large scale problems.关键词
