Abstract
Objective To investigate the polymorphism considering 13 antigens from 5 rare red blood group systems in Kazak blood donors in Urumqi area and there by improve capability of compatible infusion. Methods PCR-SSP method was applied to the unrelated donors to carry out genotyping tests regarding the following 5 blood group systems: Kell(Kel), Diego(DIi), Dombrock(Do), Kidd(JK), and Duffy(Fy) . Results The tests revealed the gene frequency of RBC antigens in Kell, Duffy, Diego, Kidd, Dombroek blood group as follows: k =0. 988 3, K=0. 011 7, Jsb =1. 000 0, Jsa =0, Fya =0. 6680, Fyb =0. 332 0, Fy =0, Dia =0. 031 3, Dib =0. 968 7, Jka =0. 484 4, Jkb =0. 515 6, Doa =0. 273 4, Dob =0. 726 6; while the rate of unbounded antigen in each blood group were 2. 29, 34. 52, 5. 88, 37. 48, 31. 84 respectively. Through Hardy-Weinberg coincidence test, the genotype distribution status of Kell, Diego, Dombrock in blood group systems were overall consistent with our expectations. However, the difference between Duffy system and Kidd system was statistically significant(P<0. 05) . Conclusion The values of genotype distribution of Duffy and Kidd in the blood group system were quite different compared to the expected values, which can be very valuable when it comes to enhancing blood transfusion safety of for Kazak people in Urumqi.关键词
