Review on virulence factors of Mycobacterium tuberculosis
摘要
Abstract
Tuberculosis is a common zoonotic disease that threatens global human health. Its pathogen is Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Due to the serious drug resistance of tuberculosis during the treatment process, the existing anti-TB drugs confront with a great challenge. The pathogenicity of Mycobacterium tuberculosis is depended on varieties of gene regulation and expression. So, the virulence factors of Mycobacterium tuberculosis play an important role in the pathogenicity of Mycobacterium tuberculosis. The major virulence factors associated with Mycobacterium tuberculosis are proteins, peptidoglycan, mycolic acid, cell metabolism correlation factors and transcriptional regulators, which are secreted in early stage. Nowadays, more and more researchers are interested in the study of virulence factors of Mycobacterium tuberculosis and hope to find new drug targets from these virulence factors.关键词
