摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of surgical complications on the prognosis of ulcerative colitis-related colorectcal cancer. Methods A total of 23 patients who underwent surgery in our department (2003-2016) for ulcerative colitis-related colorectal cancer were included in this analysis. The characteristics between surgical complications group and non-surgical complications group were compared in the aspects of preoperative medication, surgical complications, surgical methods, and postoperative hospitalization time of patients. Results Complications appears in 10 patients (surgical complications group), while 13 cases are with no complications (non-surgical complications group). There is no statistically significant difference in the perspective of gender, ulcerative colitis diagnosis age, operation age, scope of lesions, smoking, family history of inflammatory bowel disease or cancer, abdominal surgery history, tumor location, mass number, tumor stage and surgical method (all P>0.05). No evident difference is demonstrated in preoperative hemoglobin, albumin level, the application of 5ASA, glucocorticoid and immunosuppressant, as well as the number of complications, the release time (P>0.05). However, postoperative median hospitalization time [18(11. 25, 36. 25)] in surgical complications group was obviously longer than that of non-surgical complications group [9(7, 19)] P= 0.007. Conclution Surgical complications in patients with ulcerative colitis-relate colorectal cancer may prolong hospitalization days after surgery.关键词
