Methods for standardized specialty training of oral and maxillofacial surgeons

Abstract
Specialty training has been established in European and American countries for over a hundred years, forming a relatively mature system of education and training. However, there is no standardized system in China because specialty education started late here. At the same time, oral and maxillofacial surgery is significantly different from that in other countries both in educational system and the scope of diagnosis and treatment. Therefore, there is no ready-made experience for our reference. Making use of the distinctive advantages of Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine in the specialty, we have explored the standardized specialty training of oral and maxillofacial surgeons. It will provide reference for the establishment of oral and maxillofacial surgery specialty training system in China.关键词
