Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effect of acupuncture combined with western medicine in the treatment of sudden deafness of the pattern of qi stagnation and blood stasis, and to assess its influence to hemorheology and immunity correlating cytokines. Methods:80 patients with sudden deafness of the pattern of qi stagnation and blood stasis were randomly divided into the control group(n =40) and the study group(n =40). The control group was treated with western medicine; on which basis, the study group was also treated with acupuncture. The curative effect, clinical symptom score, hearing threshold, as well as hemorheology and immunity correlating cytokines were observed after the treatment in the two groups. Results:In terms of the cure rate and the total effective rate, they were respective 20％ and 70％ in the control group; however, they were 32. 5％ and 85％ correspondingly in the study group; of which the study group was better than the control group(P ＜ 0. 05). In terms of hearing threshold, it was (58. 7 ±8. 9) dBHL in the control group, and it was (67. 8± 9. 3) dBHL in the study group; the study group was superior to the control group(P ＜0. 05). In terms of the scores of tinnitus, ear distension feeling, nausea, dizziness, nausea and vomiting, they all significantly became lower after the treatment in the both groups; of which the study group was much lower than the control group (P ＜0. 05). At the end of the treatment, the scores in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P ＜0. 05). In terms of the hemorheology and immunity correlating cytokines, it did not show obvious changes in the control group(P ＞0. 05); whereas, in the study group, IgG, IgM, IgA, high-shear whole blood viscosity, low-shear whole blood viscosity, plasma viscosity, hematocrit, and index of erythrocyte aggregation all became significantly lower after the treatment, and index of erythrocyte deformation was significantly higher after the treatment than that before the treatment (P ＜0. 05); the study group was significantly better than the control group on the aspect of the above indicatiors(P ＜ 0. 05). Conclusion: Acupuncture combined with western medicine can promote the circulation of sudden deafness of the pattern of qi stagnation and blood stasis, it can improve immunity and increase curative effect.关键词
