Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of Bi-level positive airway pressure(BiPAP) non-invasive ven-tilation in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and type Ⅱ respiratory failure. Methods A total of 78 patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and type Ⅱ respiratory failure who were diagnosed and treated in our hospital from October 2016 to October 2017 were randomly divided into study group and control group. Patients in control group were treated with routine treatment, and the study group was treated with noninvasive ventilator-assisted ventilation. The blood gas values including Saturation of Arterial Oxygen(SaO2), Partial Pressure of Arterial Carbon Dioxide(PaCO2), Partial Pressure of Arterial Oxygen(PaO2), hydrogen ion concentration(pH), respiratory rate and heart rate between two groups before and after treatment were compared. Results The SaO2, PaO2 and pH values of two groups after treatment were significantly higher than those before treatment. And PaCO2 Of two groups after treatment was lower than that before treatment. After treatment, the indicators of the study group were significantly better than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0. 05). After treatment, the respiratory rate and heart rate of the two groups decreased compared with those before treatment, and the decrease rate of the study group was more obvious, with statistically significant difference (P＜0. 05). Conclusion BiPAP noninvasive ventilation in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and type Ⅱ respiratory failure can help relieve clinical symptoms and improve quality of life, which has significant effect.关键词
