Abstract
Objective To investigate the value of complete denture repair in patients with flat alveolar ridge. Methods 100 patients with flat alveolar ridge from February 2015 to February 2017 were selected and divided into two groups according to the therapeutic regimen. Patients in control group were treated with the conventional complete denture repair while patients in study group were treated with the improved complete denture repair. The treatment results in patients with flat alveolar ridge of two groups were compared. Results The superior rate of masticatory function in study group after treatment (94. 00％) was significantly higher than that in control group (82. 00％) (P＜0. 05). The total satisfactory rate of denture use in study group (100. 00％) was significantly higher than that in control group (84. 00％ ) (P＜0. 05). Conclusion Improved complete denture repair in patients with flat alveolar ridge could improve the satisfactory rate of patients effectively, and also improve the masticatory function and fixation effect. It was with high value of application.关键词
