Abstract
Objective and Methods: The content of saikosaponin a, d and total saikosaponins from Bupleurum marginatum var. stenophyllum (BS), cultivated B. Chinese (BC) and B. marginatum (BM). were determined by HPLC and UV. Results: The content of total saikosaponins were 2.93％ ～ 5.86％ for BS, 1.56％ ～ 2.25％ for BC and 1.83％ ～ 2.50％ for BM. The total content of saikosaponin a and saikosaponin d were 2.03％ ～ 3.95％ for BS, 0.46％ ～ 1.28％ for BC and 0.88％ ～ 1.90％ for BM. Conclusion: The plant scale of BS is constantly expanding from Gansu province. The saikosaponins content from BS is significantly higher than that from the other 2 cultivated species and may have different clinical effects.关键词
