Optimization and Experimental Verification of Drawing Process Parameters for Automotive Floor Part

Abstract
The addendum and binder surface of the automotive floor parts were designed according to the initial parts, and the finite element model of deep drawing process were established by using finite element software AutoForm. Through preliminary numerical simulation, the crack was the main defects for the part. The size of the blank and blank holder force were taken as the optimization parameters. The Sigma module was used to optimize the drawing forming process parameters and to determine the optimal process parameters. The results show that the optimized X direction blank size, Y direction blank size, and blank holder force are 1 320 mm, 982 mm, and 6.75×105 N, respectively. The tryout part hasn't any defects, and it is in consistence with the numerical simulation results.关键词
