Abstract
Model workers, as "an exemplary group" of the working class, have made full use of their enthusiasm, creativity and historical initiativeness, and have achieved meritorious deeds in different historical periods of China's revolution, construction, reform and opening-up. As the strivers and pacemakers of the new era, model workers and their progressiveness have been sublimated to the spirit of the times. In the new era, to carry out the spirit of model workers and to strengthen education and study of model workers, we must follow Xi Jinping's thought of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era and make use of the modes of multi-perspectives, multi-dimensions and multi-disciplines, which are the logic foundation of work. To further promote the development of education and study of model workers, universities and colleges should make full use of the resources of different disciplines and specialities to expand and deepen the multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary research and should strive to find innovative paths, to create "model workers plus" theoretical innovation situation and to establish a specialized field of model workers studies.关键词
