Abstract
Objective To summarize the effect of orthodontic treatmcnt combined with oral cavity repair in the treatment of congenital missing teeth,and to provide some references for treating congenital missing teeth.Methods 62 patients with congenital missing teeth admitted into our department from June,2015 to May,2017 were selected and divided into a combined group and a control group using random number table,31 case for each group.The combined group took orthodontic treatment combined with oral cavity repair,and the control group oral cavity repair.The treatment effect,aesthetic satisfaction rate,recovery times for language function and chewing function,language function and chewing function score changes during treatment were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate and the aesthetic satisfaction rate were higher in the combined group than in the control group [96.77％ (30/31) vs.74.19 ％ (23/31) and 96.77％ (30/31) vs.74.19 ％ (23/31)],with statistical differences (P ＜ 0.05).The recovery times for language function and chewing function were shorter in the combined group than in the control group [(16.80±4.55) d vs.(25.50±5.20) d and (21.30±4.80) d vs.(27.20±4.65) d],with statistical differences (P ＜ 0.05).The scores of language function and chewing function were higher in the combined group than in the control group after the treatment [(9.53±1.55) vs.(7.60±1.40) and (9.60±1.05) vs.(7.25±1.03)],with statistical differences (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Orthodontic treatment combined with oral cavity repair for congenital missing teeth has high efficiency,high aesthetic value,good functional recovery,and the value of ioint implementation.关键词
