A Case-control study on the treatment of Cervical Trigeminal Neuralgia by Three-Step Chiropractic reduction manipulation

Abstract
Objective: To study the clinical effect of trigeminal neuralgia treated by three step reduction manipulation and reduce the recurrence rate of cervical trigeminal neuralgia. Methods: From January 2015 to July 2017, 100 patients with cervical trigeminal neuralgia were randomly divided into treatment group (n=50) and control group (n=50). The treatment group was treated by three-step reduction of ridge-by-layer. The patients in the control group were treated with carbamazepine tablets. After 3 courses of treatment, the changes of pain score (VAS) in the two groups were observed and compared. Results: The total effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P＜0.05). After treatment, the VAS score of the two groups was significantly lower than that of the control group (P＜0.05), and the VAS score of the observation group after treatment was significantly lower than that of the control group (P＜0.05). The recurrence rate in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P＜0.05).Conclusion: The treatment of cervical trigeminal neuralgia by three-step spinal reduction is an effective method with high safety and no side effects.关键词
