摘要

Abstract

The study in non-traditional stable Sr isotope (δ88/86Sr) has achieved a great development for the past few years, and recent research interests are mostly centered in the application in marine geochemistry.Based on publicated researches in recent years, we summarized the research achievements in the application of stable Sr isotope, including the compositions of stable Sr isotope in major natural reservoirs, the variations of Sr isotope composition in Phanerozoic seawater, and the reassessment of the marine Sr system.δ88/86Sr value in seawater has experienced a great change in Phanerozoic.The integrated strontium isotope system combined with traditional radiogenic isotope 87Sr/86Sr with stable isotope δ88/86Sr can help better reassess the marine Sr cycle than the only one factor, the traditional 87Sr/86Sr ratio.There has been reported that modern marine Sr system is now being unstable, owing to the post-glacial "weathering peak".By summarizing these research advances, we try to offer more enlightenment of the application of Sr isotopes system in marine geochemistry.
