Abstract

In order to master the noise characteristics of main equipment in urban substation, the sound source position, noise level and spectrum characteristics of main equipment in 110 kV~500 kV substation are tested by acoustic camera. The results of noise spectrum measurement are further analyzed. The results show that the noise source of the equipment is the main transformer itself, the cooling fan and the tank surface. The noise energy is mainly concentrated in the frequency range of 100~1 000 Hz and the proportion of the fundamental frequency of the transformer with different capacity is different. In addition, in the measurement of the noise of the main equipment of 500 kV substation, it is found that a large number of high harmonics appear in the spectrum due to the DC bias phenomenon. In this paper, the detection method of the degree of DC bias is discussed by using wavelet analysis in terms of energy, which provides a reference for substation noise control and DC bias suppression.
