摘要

Abstract

Through the analysis of electromagnetic environment of the HVDC converter valve, it was concluded that electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) test is necessary for the valve-based electronic equipment (VBE). According to the actual project, the EMC test requirements of VBE were put forward. The test loop was constructed to complete the items of EMC test. A method for suppressing the electrostatic discharge in the test process was proposed, which includes adopting magnetic beads and transient voltage suppressors to improve the luminous drive circuit, restraining interference signals, optimizing PCB layout, modifying grounding mode, and increasing local shield.Test results show that this method can effectively enhance the electrostatic discharge protection capability of the VCM box in the control and protection unit of the converter valve.
