Abstract
The effects of different Sr content on mechanical properties and microstructure of AlSi9Cu3 alloy were investigated.The results show that when the Sr content is 0.06 %, the modification effect of the alloy is the best, and the eutectic silicon phase of the alloy is transformed from a thick needle and flake to a small fibrous or particles.However, excessive Sr may cause the increase of casting defects such as porosity.With the increase of Sr content, the mechanical properties of the alloy show a trend of first increase and then decrease.When the Sr content is 0.06 %, the reinforcement effect of the alloy is up to peak, the ultimate tensile strength and elongation reach 288 MPa and 13.23 %, respectively.The strong-plasticity properties of the alloy will be decreased with adding more Sr, which is consistent with the effect of Sr on the modification effect of eutectic Si.关键词
