Effect of Sn on Mechanical Properties of Vermicular Graphite Cast Iron
摘要
Abstract
The effect of Sn on mechanical properties and microstructure of the vermicular graphite cast iron was studied by single factor experiment.The results show that the Brinell hardness of the vermicular graphite cast iron is increased with the increasing of the Sn content, and the Vickers hardness first increase and then tends to stabilize;The room temperature tensile strength is decreased at first and then increases with the increase of Sn content, and it reach the lowest at 0.06%Sn.The elevated temperature tensile strength increases with the increase of Sn content.Sn element can stable and refine pearlite, with the increase of Sn content, the vermicularity of the vermicular graphite cast iron increases and the pearlite content increase too.关键词
