Abstract
Aluminum alloy ultra-thin laptop fan covers were produced with die casting process.The structure of fan covers were analyzed, the gating system and die were designed and the 3 D modeling and numerical simulation were used to optimize it.The results show that the optimum casting process parameters are simulated and optimized according to the temperature field, filling flow condition, solidification condition, shrinkage cavity location and porosity of the castings, aluminum alloy pouring temperature is 680 ℃, the mould preheating temperature is 220 ℃, the injection speed of 4 m/s.According to the optimized process parameters, the product is verified, and the ultra-thin laptop fan cover casting with excellent quality is obtained.关键词
